Md. Arifur Rahman Khan is the academic staff of the Department of Agronomy at BSMRAU, Bangladesh. Prior to this he served Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. Dr. Khan was awarded the Ministry of Science and Technology fellowship of the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh to pursue PhD degree in Department of Agronomy at Bangladesh Agricultural University and successfully completed PhD in 2015 with satisfactory level. In his PhD research, Dr. Khan focused on the Production technology of Stevia in Bangladesh. He was awarded Indian Science and Research Fellowship under the Government of India in 2017 to pursue Post-doc at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. At this time Dr. Khan focused on the research about abiotic stress specially  salinity on cowpea plant. He has published around 40 scholarly papers in reputable journals and presented his research findings in different national and international conferences. He contributed to various studies and projects.  Dr. Khan was General Secretary of Teacher’s Association of BSMRAU. He was born on 26 November 1981 in Bangladesh.
